"From a young age, motorsports captivated me. My high school senior project was building a car for our local track, igniting a passion that led me to Thompson Motorsports. I was fortunate to be raised by several great mentors there, but that's where I met Will Harris, and my experience changed completely. Will wasn't just a coworker; he was a mentor. He consistently went above and beyond, patiently explaining intricate details of racing, far more than he needed to. He always took the time to help me learn and was patient. He opened doors to crew chiefs, diverse racetracks, and various racing disciplines. Working with Will gave me invaluable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the racing world. Although my career path ultimately diverged from motorsports, the skills I gained are still incredibly useful. From basic tool proficiency for household repairs to fixing my kids' bikes, the practical knowledge is something I use daily.
